The Restaurant is bright, clean and neat. The Mango Lassi is one of the best I've had, served in these metal cups and straws. Unfortunately the food is just very ordinary and for the price point which they sell, there is nothing different or special. We ordered Tandoori and the chicken had no taste to put it straight. If you want to have some really tasty and authentic Indian food please look somewhere else.

Staff nice, but not very attentive. We had to wait a long time for the food, a whole 1 hour and 45 minutes. Questions in the waiting time were always answered "not coming soon".

We love to go there for dinner. Was excellent and tasty so far. The service is also very friendly.

The entrance was not easy to find in the dark but in the end quite fast. We were kindly received and were allowed to choose what to sit on. Soon the card was brought and we could choose. After a few minutes we were able to order our drinks and then also our food. We ordered a main course with the thought if it was too little we take another dessert. The waiter asked us if we wanted naan bread first. So we understood that this was an appetizer and ordered this. When the naan bread was brought and we wanted to start this, the main course arrived. If we had known that, we would not have ordered naan bread. The food was all very tasty and of good quality. From the pans we have 3x generous scoop. After dinner we were not asked if we wanted a dessert. Now we had enough but I thought it would have been nice. When I wanted to pay at the bar I was asked if we wanted snaps. But I said we didn't want me to have to drive. The waiter insisted a little and asked if my partner might want to go while she didn't have her wine yet. I indicated that she did not want to. He seemed a bit disappointed but otherwise friendly. I paid the pin card and we kindly said goodbye to each other. Toilet was also neat and find no extremely strange smell. All in all a positive pleasant experience. I recommend the restaurant and would definitely go there again if I was in the area.

I regularly drive 150 km to enjoy these delicacies. Incredibly tasty, if there were 10 stars, Royal India would also get an 11th star from me.

Place is easy to find. Food is tasty and staff are friendly. This was our first time and we would eat there again.

Wonderful indian restaurant serving delicious and tasty food. I would strongly recommend and if I am near Kelkheim I won't miss to visit here again. Naan prepared here is really very soft and finely prepared. They have a lot of choices and menu items too. We had only vegetarian dishes and it was great. Very smiling and pleasantly receiving waiters. Ambience is very very neat and pleasant. Small note to the restaurant owner : please do keep aN air freshener in the toilets as it was quite unoleasant during our visit.

We had a wonderful meal, excellent service and super table presentation. We ATE early in the evening, without reserving - and the Restaurant Startet To fill up after 6.30 pm.

My only favorite Indian restaurant ( though im not a fan of indian dish!!!) Best tomato soup in my life...........(I recommend you to try tomato soup & butter chicken!!!) Lunch menu is cheaper and it comes with dessert - amazing place

Very cozy atmosphere in a typical Indian furnished guest room with modern lighting elements. In front of the guest room there is a winter garden, which is just as cozy and an outdoor area, which is unfortunately a bit noisy due to the high bus and train traffic in front of the restaurant. The waiters are incredibly friendly and accommodating. You are also in good hands here with food allergies, as the waiters know the food very well, help with the selection and also make extra requests possible. The starters and curries are authentic and really tasty. I haven't tried desserts. All in all a very recommendable Indian restaurant.

Indian from beginner to advanced Was at the Royal India on Thursday. Parking is only possible in the surrounding station car park, but free of charge. Ambiente was a mix of styles from modern India and slightly rustic furniture. The food was great. The dishes are sorted by spiciness and everything is there for beginners as well as for keen connoisseurs to the original Indian. The sharpness was never exaggerated, but always clear without overlapping! My tandoori chicken in the hot pan with garlic was super marinated. The portion just right, even if it looked like little. Served in proper style in copper dishes, the food was also optically great. Plus a friendly, considerate service. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes to eat Indian.

The waiter was wonderful. The food was delicious. We ordered Menu 1 for people and it was a lot of food for 2 people. Absolutely love this place!
